Members of the Strule Student Council, representing each of the six schools that will be based on the new campus, attended a workshop and site visit on Tuesday 24th February.
The students were able to visit the site viewing platform where they could see the progress of the construction of their future schools and be briefed on the pace and the unique approach to building the shared education campus.
After visiting the viewing platform, Student Council members returned to Arvalee School and Resource Centre where they workshopped their thoughts about the campus. This was an opportunity for students to highlight what they thought were the benefits of the campus but also to engage with the Strule Programme officials about the measures that they felt would need to be in place to make the campus a success for every student who attends.
The Strule Student Council will continue to receive regular updates about the construction of the campus and the development of the shared education model as it progresses towards going live in 2028.
